The hotel wellness centre is the best in the town of Binz, perhaps even on the whole of Rügen. It features an indoor pool, an excellent spa with massage and beauty treatments available, as well as a hairdresser. The light and elegant breakfast restaurant is right at the top of the hotel, where you are surrounded by large windows, which offer amazing sea views. On the same floor is the popular gourmet restaurant, "Rugard’s Gourmet". The Rugard Strandhotel attaches great importance to food and the ingredients used for cooking (at breakfast, for example, there are twelve different types of milk to choose from). Of course, the hotel also has an attractive bar. There is live music in the evening during the high season. Limited free parking is available. If you want to reserve a parking space, you need to do so at the time of booking (outdoor parking €8 and garage parking at the Strandhotel Arkona €12 per day). The hotel offers a varied programme of activities. Free wireless Internet in the reception area. Free Internet in the rooms. A fitness room is available at the neighbouring Arkona hotel, about 300 metres away. The hotel is non-smoking.
