On the northern coastline of Crete, between the popular tourist resorts of Platanias and Chania, lies the small village of Maleme. The village is known for its peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere. Unlike its neighboring villages during peak season, Maleme is not as heavily impacted by tourism.
