Kühlungsborn Located 25 km northwest of Rostock, Kühlungsborn is one of Germany's oldest seaside resorts, boasting a long beach promenade and numerous spa hotels. Established as a resort in the 1860s, it is a popular summer destination for beachgoers and cyclists. The town features a beautiful beach and nature along the Baltic Sea.
Bad Doberan 15 km west of Rostock lies Bad Doberan, a traditional spa town. In the Heiligendamm district, about 6 km northwest of central Bad Doberan on the Baltic Sea coast, you'll find a stunning sandy beach. Founded in 1793 by Grand Duke Frederick Francis I, Heiligendamm attracted many visitors from European nobility throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, including the Russian Tsar family.
