Definition of a Vineyard

A vineyard, as we define it, is an old farmhouse that has been carefully restored and converted into holiday accommodations, apartments, or hotels. The environment is often rustic, and the location is picturesque, amidst grapevines and olive trees. The estate produces its own wine, and there should, of course, be the opportunity to buy wine to take home. Additionally, it's common to find honey, marmalade, or other homemade products for sale. Culture and nature often go hand in hand with this type of holiday destination. The excursion opportunities around Italy and its regions are countless. In larger towns, there are often wine shops offering a wide selection of good wines in various price ranges. The charming region of Piedmont, with its vineyards and hazelnut trees, is home to many cozy villages and vineyards, perfect for those who want to stop for a few nights on their way north or south.

To get around, a car is necessary. You might choose to drive your own car, which is a good idea as it allows you to bring back some goodies. Alternatively, you can book a flight and rent a car for your travels.
